Aan de lopende band (On the assembly line) was an in situ installation and perfomance in collaboration with visual artist Els Dillen. It was part of Oorsprong, an annual residency located in a former mustard factory in Ronse. During 12 hours we reproduced series of the same drawings on an assembly line. We examined the influence of time, repetition, movement and tempo on the act of drawing. What happens to a manual craft when it’s mechanically executed? By doing this we also questioned the value of unique authorship (2018)
